Sussex Classics are pretty good - fair stock and will despatch same day. Have use them for bits for my B roadster over the past few years and not been disappointed...

Backorder UK domains or auction your own with UKBackorder.uk. Our platform offers a seamless process to secure expiring domains and sell your own UK domains through auctions. No catch, no fee.

    Have good phone service too..

The website is poor, but David Manners AKA Abingdon 4 MG are quite competitive. They sell good quality parts for the best part and are generally quite reasonable. Ask for Dave (not Manners though!) if you call them . Many of the bits they sell seem to be what Moss stock.

MGOC can be good on some parts even if they are pricey on a number of things. For bushes I would go to Chris Witor/Superflex. The rear end of the 'B GT I had managed to combine composure and ride quality with his bushes, despite me having Spax dampers (allegedly a harsh damper) and 8Jx15" Minilites! They didn't deteriorate as fast as the modern rubber bushes I fitted elsewhere either!

Beckerman106 on ebay does not seem to be too bad, but I would steer clear of some of the smaller branches (from some of them the fitment of their bushes were laughable in addition to having cotter pins which stripped the threads way before any decent torque was put onto them).

I've used welsh mg centre in Wrexham for many years. Their website is a bit last century but the owner (phil) is a great bloke. I've built 3 cars from his bits and maintained countless others with very few problems. Stock level is very good, knowledge excellent but always collected in person so can't comment on delivery. ( ps parts are very cheap compared to stag too )

        Hope that helps

Our car pre-Stag was a late MGBGT and Moss of Bradford were very convenient if maybe not the cheapest, they also have a branch in Manchester I believe. Let me know if you need an unused radiator from them which is cluttering up a shelf in the garage. No reasonable offer refused!

Moss IME tend to dish out bits of a good quality for the best part. Cheap they are not although many people do supply their parts for less (David Manners being one example).

              Hi Steve

MG Motorsport (www.mgmotorsport.com), they restore, race and sell MG’s which is always a good starting point for quality parts and knowledge.

I knew I forgot one supplier! Steve (if that is his name there) is quite knowledgable, and certainly knows how to get the best out of a 'B . Cheap they are not, but their knowledge is quite handy.

Ah, finally a good reason to have this insurgent thread - to speed up getting it out of the way to allow work on the real car to proceed.
