Alex, sorry to hear that mate.
The company I worked for had 7 CRT's stolen over night for the Site in Rainham a year or so back. £3000 each to replace
These are big things as well, bigger than a 5 gallon drum.

Scum. Sorry mate.
I had heard of this type of theft before, but when one of the presenters of 5th gear tried to remove one for the programme some time ago, he made it look difficult. I thought he looked a bit cack handed, this suggests that was the case.
I have a chainwheel exhaust cutter that will go through a 2 inch exhaust pipe virtually silently in 15 or so seconds, and with the Transit having fair ground clearance, it would be possible, if so inclined, to be away with a cat in under 2 minutes. ..
Anyway, who needs to buy a used cat? Got a few laying around

you must have mk7 transit then,my mate had his cat and spare wheel stolen from his mercedes vito
Won’t it be nice to borrow the scums jack while they were in the process of removing the exhaust!
Of course it would be very unfortunate if you forgot they were stuck under the van when you started it and revved the engine for a couple of hours while driving forward and back a couple of feet.
