when I brought my car it had cruise lights fitted and the rear light lenses were all orange on the registration document it was registered in uk in 1975 but it is a 1973 car can I find out were it went to.

Hi ?,
If you buy a Heritage certificate it will tell you (from the commission / chassis number) -
LH or RH drive and which market it was intended for
Build date
Despatch date
Destination / dealer
Factory fitted equipment
Original engine and body numbers
Original colour (paint and trim)

Will that show exported details even if exported direct from the factory ?

Don't know Mark, but if it's direct from factory to an overseas dealer the heritage certificate should pick it up under the destination/dealer heading so either way should get the info. p.s. the DVLA service is excellent IMHO and well worth the fiver as you get everything on record about the vehicle.
