Back on the Road

Since my Stag had an argument with a motorcyclist last September it has been on SORN and sitting in the garage waiting for repairs. The car went away to Faversham on the 20th. March and I collected the repaired vehicle last Tuesday. Paid the road tax for the last time at the local Post Office and drove it home. Very pleased with the result and I took it out today on the Essex Group's well attended "Drive it Day". A nice sunny day for open top motoring though a little fresh. Happy to be back on the road just as the weather is improving.

Hi Rod,

The car looks fantastic and stands up to really close scrutiny the boys at Faversham have done a great job. I know where to go when I want mine painted but suspect I will need to save for a good couple years yet so I can afford it.

Great to see it back together again, I have been there when mine got damaged. Noticed the stag owners club badge has changed sides?

looks great again, begs the question why other road users can@t see our cars with their 70's colours, mines Java green and the amount of W*****S that pull out on me is scary

Thanks for all your kind remarks. The Faversham lads put the badge back on the other side. Its one way of spotting the before and after photos, though the number plate is different.
