    Tempreture gauge

    Evening all

Could someone please tell me where the red area would start on my tempreture dial below. It's so confusing but this is the gauge my Stag came with.

    Thank you

Hi, about half way between 95 and 100. Most of the time, it should show just under or just over 90, with occasional foray's to about 95. Even showing 100, it's still 40 degrees lower than boiling. Don't worry ! Martin.

This is from the technical reprints. So 100 c is about vertical on original gauge and needle at lower edge of red line is about 115c. temp.jpg

Thank you guys very much for the info, puts my mind at rest, it usually runs around 75-85 and upto 90 on motorways.

Sohail - Mine does exactly the same - gets a little warmer on Mways. Readings almost identical to yours. I have the leccy fan set to come on at 95.

same here 75-85 more on steep hills etc. Derbyshire dales on drive it day got up to 90 on the uphill twisty bits (there are alot in the peak district apparently) then around 80 cruising normally with a bit of wind through her rad
