Recon Carbs

A shiny new set of recon carbs fitted today (thanks Alan); set the idle and balanced, then a 25mile (top-down) run out in the sunshine

Will check the CO on a gas analyser when I can, although I don't think it can be too far out.

yes a straight forward swap, have you got a carb balancer?

Set to get both carbs the same and to get the idle within specified limits, I just followed the ROM.

depending on what equipment you have
set co to 3.7% this will give you good power and economy
stag v8 does not like running weak
