me again - gearbox seal this time

OK so everything is almost ready to go back but I'm thinking I may as well change the front (bellhousing end) oil seal in the BW35 gearbox. The torque converter has come out anyway and it's very oily in there.

Is this as straightforward as it should be or am I opening another can of worms?

All other oil seals I've ever done simply involve prising out the old seal and drifting in the new one. Is there more to this one?

    thanks

    Gary

No, as you say Gary, out with the old carefully in with the new.

      Hi gents,

As Ian says very straight forward. Just did mine. It took a few minutes getting the old one out and just gently tap the new one in.
