Side/Headlamp Switch Problem

Hi all,

My headlamp switch has become faulty - sometimes when I twist it one click the side lights will come on, sometimes (well more often than not) they don't. Sometimes all the lights come on at the headlight position, sometimes nothing....

My question is is the switch something that can be taken apart, cleaned up and hopefully fixed by yours truly, or should I just order a new one and swap them over?

I did take mine apart and fix similar problems to yours. Fiddly, but can be done.......................

Thanks, I'll remove it tomorrow and see what I can do with it. I guess if I b****r it up I can order a new one!

That was my thought when I got stuck into mine - and never did have to buy a new one.
Oh - why did I have to say that??

Try squirting some swith cleaner into it and the plug before you take it apart...
