I ducted the front air intake behind the grill so that all the air going through the opening went through the rad and not up and around the gap between the inner and outer wings. I used upvc soffit board for this ( you can buy a 5meter length for about £15-£20 from a builders merchant or double glazing supplier, this is enough to do about 5 cars ( I had an off cut-handy being a builder) and colour co-ordinated being a white car.

What about correx (sign board plastic) you can get that any colour.I had some red a while back.

Why notuse a for sale board these seem to be around every corner. many makes a colours to choose from.

Perspex? Doesn't need colour-coordinating.

Spray the back of the perspex to colour it...... instant Java perspex!!

I like the idea Bob, musing about this while working on other Stag last night I wondered what the effect would be on the rad. Currently the spill through the wings must soften the wind impact on the rad as well as cool the wing areas close to manifolds. Now all the 90mph+ (I know how you drive!) wind goes straight through the radiator. Great cooling but long term will it weaken it? Or maybe I ought to just try it!
