Jersey Motoring Festival 6th-10th June

Is anyone going to Jersey for this event.

I just happen to be out there at this time as my wife has Jersey as part of her sales territory..
She is going to be working on the Wed and Thurs so if anyone is going over and needs a co-pilot for a few hours I would happy to help.

As I have not been for this event before,does anyone have any knowledge of it and how it works.Is there a central meeting area etc..

4 of us took our stags to it in 2011, it's absolutely brilliant Sam, you'll enjoy it no end.

Best thing you can do is Google, "Jersey Festival of Transport" The organisers can offer packages, providing it's not full. I hope you can make it, bloody brilliant. Martin.

Shame we are not going in a Stag (none ready anyway) as we are obliged to take the company car..

We have just got back from Jersey.
The motoring events over the couple of days we were there were good fun and made for a good diversion from my wifes working trip..

The Friday evening consisted of a parade of the cars and then a timed 1/4 mile sprint along the sea front..
We also went to the beach racing which I really enjoyed.
It was also lovely to see so many classics just motoring around the island..No one tearing about just motoring and enjoying it..
We met two guys from Brighton called Kev and Richard in their Sapphire Blue Stag that go every year.
I saw 2 other Stags,one red and one yellow..

Jersey is a lovely place to take the Stag. All those wall-lined narrow roads to reflect the sound of the exhaust as you burble around the island. Must go back again soon; it hardly seems like 5 years since SWMBO & I took WYD over there.........

Thanks Guys,Jersey is a lovely Island although a lot busier than I remember it from when I was last there 22 years ago on our Honeymoon..
