Makes Clive Tate's ZF conversion a bargain.
Don't tell everyone, I'm still saving up for mine!
I only do what the voices in my wife’s head tell me to do!
What does Clive charge these days for the ZF conversion, just looking at replacing my manual box and it's a grand without fitting so 4 speed auto (car was originally Auto) might be an option, can't put up with this clonking gearbox anymore.
Driver transmissions in Birmingham, rebuilt my BW35 and fitted a new converter for around £1200. The only problem I have is a slight movement in the prop shaft probably caused by a deteriorated rubber buffer in the shaft. Otherwise like new.
