I've just relocated my alternator with the HRS bracket and now my header tank ( which is similar to VMads) pipe work will now foul the alternator as the outlet pipe is in the middle of the tank (VMads tank outlet is on the end of the tank so probably would have been Ok) I could have the tank modified but fancy going for a Cosworth type tank mounted on the turret to give a bit more height. The Cosworth tanks come with a modern pressure cap fitment and an outlet for a swirl pot. Two/three questions, do the modern screw on caps work like the old style pressure cap and are they available in 20psi rating?
What does the swirl pot outlet do and is this any different to a normal outlet?
