    PDWA valve wire supply?

    Hi all,
    I wonder if anyone could tell me(or show me ,in a picture) where the electrical supply for the PDWA valve comes from the loom,as mine wasn't connected at all when I bought it.I suppose it might be tucked away somewhere.
    I have found that if I short the purple/black wire on the light,to earth,,,then the brake light glows brightly and it glows ''correctly dim''with the oil light,when the ignition is on and then goes out when engine running.
    So if it's not there then I could run another wire from the rear of the bulb, but I would like to use the original,,if possible.
    Where is it??

    Funny enough, I plugged mine in only yesterday.
    Iam presuming you have a r/h drive car?
    My Stag is a MK2
    The extreme left hand, (Port side), part of the wiring loom comes through one of the large holes in the bulkhead, the wires in this part of the loom feed your front lights, indicators and horn and they pass inside the left hand wing.
    Just before the loom passes through the hole to get inside the wing, there will be a few wires that have diverted from the rest of the loom, in this diversion, you will find the wires for the wiper motor, the fuel cut out switch, and a long one with a plug on the end for the PDWA.

    Google PDWA switch and look at "Images",
    If you need more help such as where the wires are at the other end, or a better picture, let me know and maybe tomorrow as Iam working on the Stag I can help more.

      Not the best of pics, but this was fitting my rebuilt/modified loom back in last year. It might help? You can make out the connector/plug for the pdwa thing, and the one for the wiper motor, in middle of pic. Both plugs branch out from same point on an original loom, if I remember correctly.
