Hi! The show has been on my doorstep since 2003, but I only entered the one year it was totally rained off. How sad is that?! Yes, this Sunday p.m. looks like being rather damp.

Well, I'm doubly glad I didn't enter again this year, since the Stag just came back from the garage with a broken choke cable. Not as trivial as I thought. I'd like to say a few choice words to whoever thought it was clever to glue choke control knobs on!

BTW, would you be thinking of going to Classics on the Common, Harpenden, Sun 31 Jly? Warm and dry (in my two visits to date, anyway), wonderfully 'various' and HUGE. The only downside I reckon is that your pride and joy (and mine) is likely to be seen as 'just another Stag'.

Go to claasics on the common every year - great event. Chiltern Hills is always good though, hopefully just a few showers. They take entries on the day if you fancy it without a choke.

Had a good afternoon at the chiltern hills today, (apart from the tailbacks trying to get in, in the wifes MX5 so no worries ) Thanks to all the Stag club members for answering all my questions and putting my mind at rest on a couple of issues. Just get ready for more when I get to the Beds area meet at Toddington !.

Great show, plenty of interesting vehicles and a fine sunny day. The only downer was the 30min tailback to get in.
