I'd been thinking about posting that too! However, I don't see what knowing Churchill's dislikes has to do with knowledge of grammar.
The sibling question was a clever one - missed that!
I found it quite curious to discover, when I joined the Stag community, that the standard of spelling, grammar and punctuation is far worse than the Escort, motorbike and other sports car forums which I used. I would have thought that the Stag, not being a typical vehicle of the "baseball cap worn back to front" boys, would have had a large amount of followers who got slippered at school for not knowing the difference between their, there and they're !

Apparently I'm a "grammar guru" which probably says more about the test than my ability to write English. In respose to this, there was a letter to the Guardian along the lines of, "Who led the Pedants' Revolt?" Answer: "Whom Tyler!" But then we get straight on to people's dodgy knowledge of their own history so please don't get me started on that.
