door courtesy light switch

Hi guys

are thereinterior light switches with longer plungers available, I am needing some around 15-20mm long, where the doors have been adjusted the switch is not touching door and consequently the light wont go out.:?

There are two types of door switch. The single contact type as shown by Glen appears to have been fitted to later Stags.

The standard one as per the wiring diagrams has two wires running to two contacts.

You need to check which type you have before ordering.

They are not interchangable

I should have known, I had that prob on my previous stag but had forgotten about it, I have ordered the switches now so hopefully they will be ok otherwise I will have a pair of switches for sale
