    Mk1 / Mk2 Hoods

I have what i think is a Mk2 hood fitted to my Mk1 Stag. Now when i fold it into the stowage compartment i have to pull the frame out both sides because of the plastic finishers catching the interior side panels. Is this the norm or are these plastic finishers not fitted to a Mk1 hood frame. I have thought about taking them off then the frame would fold without obstruction. Once it is past the side panels it stores ok. I do think an A level in origami might help with the stowage process !

Mine's like that, and I've been wondering what to do about it for ages.

The only difference between the mk1 & mk2 hood is the mk1 has rear quater windows. A great asset when it comes to reversing
