Advice please. Just started the stag after a couple of weeks and she did this

Where under the car was it? Front, middle, back? What does it smell like? Engine oil? Gearbox oil? Petrol?

It is towards the back of the car I think as I only noticed it after I had reversed the car out of the garage.

It smells like a mixture of petrol and tar. I put a sheet of laminate flooring underlay foam on top of it and it melted it.

Looks like its just exhaust wet waste dripping from one of your exhaust joints, which would explain the petrol, leave her over nite with cardboard under her, then start her and see if it happens again

Rub it's nose in it and turf it outside. Won't do it again.

My guess is petrol leaking from underside of tank, seeping through grommet in boot and mixing with underseal before dripping. check the underside of your boot floor.

My car leaked from all points when I first got her. Front engine oil seal, Rear engine oil seal, gearbox seals, oil cooler, radiator, diff, soft top .......

I had cardboard on the floor in the garage and changed it once a month.

They are old ladies and occasionally leak.

I had very similar small circular drip rings under boot, when fuel tank developed a pin hole, Bob and Sohail. The petrol softened the underseal and tracked along the boot floor.
