Too late. The sill is not really doing anything to help the structure unfortunately, the quicksill was to a certain extent but it wouldn't have passed an MOT.
So I have stopped for now with half of the quicksill off and the car now on axle stands at the front as well as at the back so it is level. Time to brace the door gap, get the door off and watch the EJ Ward body work DVD.
I'll poke the endoscope down the sill before I get busy with the grinder so I know what to expect. A least I will be able to access the A post damage a little bit easier with the sill off and the door out of the way.
Oh yeah, the rear outrigger needs replacing too. So plenty to get on with - good job the garage is a pleasant place to be.....
