I recently put up a warning in the Forsale section. This was mainly due to a couple of private pm s from other members agreeing that some prices from the member seemed a tad to good.
I think I was better to at least write a warning rather than regret it after. I also reported the thread ( which now looks totally genuine ) to Carlfuss. That was two days ago with no reply so i guess he isn't active Surly when it's a question of fraud it should be taken seriously. I also had no feedback on the post itself and it was ignored so next time I think I will just not bother.
So who do you contact when you suspect foul play I thought it was nice to try to look out for others.

I don't know Carl's current availability, but I know when I reported a potential issue a while back it took a couple of days before he replied.

Having said that, I saw your original post and there are other Mods who visit the forum.

That’s a really good point. Could do camouflage but aftera drink, won’t be able to find the car afterwards. No change there then

Ok toys are back in the pram but I still maintain if we are going to have a secure selling thread then suspect behaviour needs to be looked at faster than a few days. By then someone could be done out of a serious amount of cash.

Hi Roger , no I emailed Carl to look into the matter as it looked like it was under his title in admin. I mentioned the member and the nature of the worry. I wouldn't want to report the post as that seemed a little to far as in all honesty the poor guy probably is genuine and what a welcome by removing his post.
