Can I hijack this thread to ask a good place to buy a complete soft top with frame from?
I had part exchanged my old one for a reconditioned one from a certain supplier who I wont name as they are finally looking to give me a refund as the new one supplied was never going to fit, even completely disconnecting the rear frame rail and pulling it back and down as far as I could, it was still this far away:-

You could try Chris Spain (V Mad) whom I believe resides in Sudbury-On-Thames. Failing that, I found a local chap who can get a half decent frame good again in addition to making a new hood for it.

cheapest way to bring back the colour is Thompsons water seal,it's loads cheaper than renovo type colour/sealers and can be bought from DIY outlets.I'ts used to seal bricks but read the small print and it does canvas materials too,worked on mine a treat and brought the colour up as well.

Came with the car ,think it is mohair ,frame has always worked well and isn't rusty.here are some pics taken a month ago for insurance.Im almost reluctant to do the swap because its given me no trouble but i do like the idea of a blue one to match my interior and it is coming from a good guy and i know its pukka.I will do some close ups over the weekend.
