As the Le-Mans Classic is just over 2 weeks away,I thought it would be a good ideal to have a final list of all of you that are going.

We could also try and arrange a meeting when we are there!.

Looks like a nil return from SOC! :?
All being well on the mechanical front, I'll be there on Terte Rouge campsite, but travelling via Poole - Cherbourg. Terte Rouge is booked exclusively for Triumphs so if you're around and don't mind roughing it with the TR boys give me a call for a free glass of wine - I've sent you my mobile via PM.

Mine went up in a cloud of steam dont know why so could be there in a peugeot my mate will be there in his vitesse and an other in his stag , dont know why its blown the gasket and it will be too much work to do it before we go get 500 miles under its belt and torque them down again.

May be a silly question, but are you sure it is the cylinder heads? Could just be an inlet manifold gasket.

Hello Malcom

Yes we are going, not sure what site, think it maybe Maison Blanche though.

Used to go every year in an assortment of cars, always at least one Stag but sadly not this time.We will be in an old Porsche 911 an even older Red Chevrolet truck and a slightly newer Maserati.

The shame is that we have7 Stags between the eight of us, only one which is not on the road !

It was only yesterday,having sorted out the latest problems, thatI am now confident that the Stag will get us to Le-Mans.

Will worryabout how we will be getting home latter.

Stag seriosly P!!!ing me off , changed Inlet manifolds gaskets but it didnt help , Compression test varied from 155 psi to 180 psi , filled it with water again and let it cool down will look at it again tomorrow .

Just be told by a friend about this.

After 1st July this year, yellow warning tabards for the driver and each passenger must be AT HAND INSIDE THE VEHICLE and must be worn in the event of a breakdown. Failure to have, or to wear these tabards when necessary, can result in an on-the-spot fine; gendarmes will be carrying out spot checks.
