My son and I have just returned from a week touring in France, Germany and then on to the classic weekend at Spa Francorchamps in Belgium. We even popped into Luxembourg where the petrol is around a third cheaper than surrounding countries. This is what Stags were made for!
We completed 1,489 miles without a single problem – read that again, those of you with Stag paranoia!
The only thing the Stag cost us was (almost daily) fill ups with petrol and three jet washes
We certainly had more than our fair share of bad weather but that didn’t stop our enjoyment. The decision to keep the hard top on was a wise one!
I must say that the Stag attracted a great deal of attention - I can only assume that they were not that common on the Continent.
I'm still waiting for Photobucket to upload all my pictures but here's some to be going on with. I’ve taken so many, but these are some of those featuring our favourite grand turismo.

At the old racing circuit at Geux Riems

Gentlemen, start your engines!

Into Germany on the way to the Ardennes

Destination! - this was not the main entrance!

Triumphs were there in force

Regards
Peter
