Check your carb feed pipes!!!!!!!!

Just ordered these from Wards. Not cheap, but much cheaper than replacing the Stag!!!!!!

Hi Thom

Although your pipe has clearly deteriorated along its length, you can see how the clip may have contributed to the break up at the end. Originally they were not held by jubilee type clips but ones that could expand slightly yet were still held solid.

Take a look at LDparts website for details of the original type clips.

I have found fairly early degrading of fuel lines in this area, luckily found in time, question, would the braiding prevent this or hide it?

i think the braiding just hides the problem

Excellent point chaps. I might just return the braided kit and order the ordinary rubber one.
