Stupid money for a trim ! -

Well...you say that, but consider this: a leather trim kit from Rimmers costs £3,519 which includes carpets, but is only available in solid colours (no piping). And I know from my experience, often you have to pay an upholsterer to fit the kit, making adjustments for it to fit properly. You can easily blow several £hundreds if not four figures just on the fitting alone. It looks as if this guy has custom made everything from scratch. On the surface then, it would seem a pretty good deal. Having said that, from the ad it does not look as though re-trimming the console, gear stick and handbrake gaiters, sun visors, T-bar, dashboard top and b-post pillars is included. I'd definitely want all that included as well. If they are additional, then yes, erring on the expensive side.
Without any connection, I commissioned what looks like an identical re-trim 18 months ago from Moores Trim and http://www.moorestrim.com/page34.htm. Everything was hand made, absolutely everything that could be covered in leather was covered, new foams, seats frames sand-blasted and re-sprayed etc. and new wood trim. They have been on E bay on and off for a few months now, so must be overpriced if nobody is interested

it is over priced,i know where theres a beige trim with green piping a lot cheaper

I presume at that price it includes a Stag to fit it in bought a Rover Coupe leather interior in good nic for just 82 pounds no brainerOnce you have built a ship everything else in life is easyComment
