We went to a show we hadn't been to before. Different cars, steam engines, friendly people (thanks to having Lucy with us) and of course a hot sunny day at last

A couple came over to ask if the Stag fuel pump he had fitted to his V8 was behaving in the same way as ours. We went over to look at his car. It was an 1938 Autovia. made by Riley in the same way as Lexus is to Toyota. It was quite a beast

I used to drive one of these during the summer holidays at an apple orchard it always got stuck in any mud until I pointed out one of the rear tyres was on back to front

It was probably too hot for Lucy but it was this or stay at home on her own all day. She had plenty of liquid including a flask of milk and a pinched cop of tea along with treats from passers by
Despite being black it was nice and cool under a Stag.

The D Type (Real or Rep I'm not sure) sounded so much better
