Vat rant

Ok folks, just getting really into the (more) expensive part of my rebuild. Engine, gearbox etc. Now like most people l wouldn't mind paying a little VAT, shall we say 6-7 % But at 20% that's OVER| £600 on an engine rebuild alone..........let alone 20% on everything else..!!
SO, now who in the stag business is Not VAT registered and wants my business...?? Anyone ?

If you are saying you want someone to rebuild your engine for you then try contacting Russ (Kryten) I think he's away at the moment but drop him a line and I'm sure he'll get back to you.

Well the vat man just made £150 from my dogs tumor removal so every cloud etc

UK taxes are the 'siezed on handbrake' of the economy.

If you workout the cost of anything here, the price is about 2% if you pay all your taxes at source (income NI etc) & point of sale (vat etc).

So for most of us our money is actually worth 2p in the £1 or less, depending on how busy the bankers (printers) have been.
