    Headlining fitment

    Hi All

Any of you guys able to give me some good tip with regards to the installation of a headlining? I am hoping to commence this task on the GT6 this coming weekend. Unfortunately I can't turn the car upside down like some people do when fitting a headlining to a Stag hardtop!

    Regards

    Bruce

    Hi Bruce

You need to speak to your mate Julian.
He fitted one for me on a GT6 I had here..did a lovely job..

He might not be picking up e-mails at the moment though so give him time..

      Hi Bruce and thanks Sam,

Yep, I'm out in France and struggling to get on the forum on my wife's new iPad.

I found the GT6 headlining fairly straightforward, however I can't really remember what I did ! IIRC all door and quarter light seals out and screen out. Fit support rails in place and then just stretch and glue to apertures. I found Thixofix good (thanks to Sam !) and if you use that properly -ie paste and allow to almost dry before fixing - then you won't even need clamps but I did use several.

I think that's almost it but good luck.

      Cheers

      Julian
