Can we all look in the, For sale, swap and wanted section please, and see if we can stop Martin from selling his stag.
It want be the same without him, me and the wife have had some great days with him and Lynn.
So come on lets see if this forum and its members are as good as we all say it is.
If its a case that Martin can't do the basic stuff to keep her on the road anymore then Ali and i will be the first to help out with anything we can.
Vince & Ali
You have a lot of friend's on here Martin and I know for sure nobody would think twice to help out (Surely that's what this is all about) so tell us what you need. Graham

I have a spacious workshop with full facilites and a proper 2 post lift. It could be that a club meeting one day a year (or within reason) could be held here on a Saturday or Sunday, when a group of supporters could contirbute time to keep his car on the road.
We can supply Cuppas and Bacon sarines, equipment and expertise. A simple, agreed division of labour could see the car fully serviced and ready for MOT every year, with larger issues taken as they arise. I think it would be enjoyable.
So, up to you guys if you want to contact me to discuss and/or arrange this.

Motive?
I will be old and perhaps ill one day.
Thats very good of you steve,
Martin has just pm me saying that he doesn't want to take advantage of friends, sorry Martin that i have posted what you have said but i don't believe there is one man or woman on this forum that would think you are taking advantage and if thats all the problem is then you are not going to sell
vince

Looks like i will have to get dressed and drive to northhants, unless you speak Martin i know you are there .
Speak to us mate this ain't going to happen
We have done it in the past and can do things in the future, Help out with the car that is, Myself, Dean, DaveB, Iani and many others have got it covered from all angles. so if that is the only reason you have reached this decision then you have made the wrong one mate and have nothing to worry about.

I naturally don't know Martin but really like his input to the Stag Club.I enjoy his views and humour.I hope that Martin can get away from selling his Stag and embrace the friendship that forum members have offered .I hope Martins health can be
On the mend. Best wishes to you.

I'm another who has never met Martin, but he has replied to quite a few of my posts here with sage advice. So: firstly, thanks Martin; and secondly, what a response from your friends and forum colleagues, I really hope you can reconsider.
Ross
Really sorry to hear this Martin, we've never met but had the odd chat on here and like all the others say don't do it, use the resources available from the club and it's members, it what makes it so strong!
The only way I will ever stop using my Stag is when/if I can't physically drive it either because I can't or I am told I am beyond it by some worthless buracrat!
