There's lowering and lowering a classic, but look at the ground clearance. Not enough to put a blade to cut the grass on it. He had to be pushed when he left.

He'll never make it back to Plymouth (*DR is a Plymouth number) like that
A bit like this Yank Tank at last weekend's local show:

He then took a large block of wood from the cab and put it behind the wheel to stop it rolling away. Having finished in the post office he raised the window by squeezing it between his palms, one on the inside, one on the outside, removed the wood from behind the wheel and replaced it in the cab. Pulling the door shut by the window frame (obviously no inside handle) he then started it up and drove away.
Apparently they don't have the equivalent of an MOT in Tennessee, if it moves it is legal!

I made a quick trip to Blighty a couple of days ago. Driving up the M5 in Somerset yesterday morning I passed a long line of lowered Beetles, Combis and one Variant. They must have been going to a show somewhere. They were trundling along rather slowly - I assume because being lowered they do not handle too good. Don't see the point of lowering.
