Watching the changing of the guard this morning, I'm extremely disappointed ! They don't march any more, they walk more or less in time, arms reaching different heights, turning at the end of a beat is casual. Like so much else, we used to do it so well !
No, it's not you Martin. I've noticed over recent years that the lines are not as straight as they used to be during Trooping of the Colour. Probably has something to do with RSM's having to tone down their discipline to allow for modern sensitivities

Ahh the good ole days , trouble is when I look at yester year it's filled with the same corruption /abuse /scandle as exists today. More was covered up in those days such as unwanted pregnancy. I think each generation thinks there the best.
Those troups are fighting a very different war and deserve the upmost respect.
None of the generations were or are perfect but i also suffer from those rose tinted glasses
Andrew Marr reported that the noughties were the most fun of all the generations and I agree.
These days people just get away with less with added technology and transparency in everything we do.
Hopefully the under 25 section will be a tad less negative otherwise we are all doomed
