    Stag in France

Well, we are 2/3rd into our trip down to Grimaud. We covered 786 KM (488 miles) took 9 1/2 hours including 3 or 4 1/2 hour stops.

Stag is coping well at the moment although I still have a leak into the vee from either the water pump or the water pump gasket, I hope it's not the water pump because that was rebuilt by Tony Hart so it should be fine.

the occupants of the Stag are suffering though, temp today started off at about 20 degrees in Lille and raining, then upto 31 degrees down towards Valence where we are now. Hit traffic at Lyon, temps good!

Ill stop now because I've bored you all!

Hi Guys, glad I'm not boring you!

John, Martin, yep stags looking after us, he'll need a good wash a polish when we get home. Not really taken any photos yet, just a couple at the hotel in Maidstone. I got talking to a Guy in the queue for the Chunnel who's been to Grimaud and reckons its a lovely place, very quaint, so that'll be nice! I'll post some photos when we are there!

Port Grimaud is neat, even if it is a bit touristy. Pick up the coast road at Hyères - the motorway in land is all a bit barren.

If there are forest fires about, you could always drive up to the St.Cassien lake not so far away where you might see the firefighting planes filling up!

Free wifi at the moment in the hotel, plus I have a plan with Vodafone where it costs £3 per day to use data

That's nice to think you are investing the equivalent of a pint a day to keep in touch with us.

                            Cheers Jason.
