Hi Bob. Hardly ever saw the cars. The guy owns a string of body repair shops (Exway Coachworks) and kept them hidden. He has since moved to a larger house with plenty of space to house his collection in purpose-built garages.

Obvious to say now worth a fortune unless I am corrected.

My Anglia had the Lotus Cortina quarter bumpers, Lotus Cortina gearbox mated to a Cortina 1400 GT engine, Didn't half go! And guess what else.............bonnet louvres!

Great pics nice Cortinas the Bruce Reynolds Cortina was used to finalise the route from the robbery scene to the hide out, the Cortina was brought buy Colin Chapman in 1980 for £4.500 and was in the Lotus museum in Norfolk it sold again in 1998 for 30k + and then sold again in 2010 for a undisclosed sum, more than 30k i guess.
