They look like gearbox mounting bolts. They fit through the floor either side of the tunnel, as they are joined together it's a one man job to do up the nuts.

IIRC these items are replaced with ordinary bolts with the ZF kit, which offers one potential explanation why they are left over. Has a ZF been fitted?
Can't remember why they are replaced though.

Yep, although the originals didn't have bolt heads, if you look closely at the Rimmer's pic of the part that Kevin mentioned, it seems that their's do have the bolt heads.
