I have a valve letting air when I take the dust cap off. I am presuming that the valve insert just needs tightening up and presume its a special tool and not pointed pliers?
There is a special tool, available at most motor factors or cycle shops , at a push I've used a thin screwdriver down the side of the insert to undo them before.
ZF 4 spd box, Datsun shafts, SS exhaust, 38DGMS weber 158.9bhp, BMW MC Tomcat seatssigpic
If you've got a "traditional" old mechanical type tyre pressure gauge with the bit that shoots out under pressure and shows a scale which you read off, you'll probably find that the cap unscrews and is, in actual fact, the special tool that you seek.
