Kenlowe Fan position?

Have I positioned my Kenlowe Fan correctly?
I presume the motor does go in front, the directional arrow on the fan will result in air being directed towards the rad.
There is a two inch gap between the edge of the fan and the front of the rad, I could move it closer if I positioned the alloy struts with the bottoms facing forward, but would lose the rigidity I have by having them back, using the rear holes of the chassis rails, and having the brackets as close as I can to the bends.

looks fine to me,just check correct rotation with smoke or tissue paper etc as it should be drawn in towards the rad with the fan running.

As Peter has said, check the fan is blowing air through the rad into the engine bay.

I would suggest you position the fan as close as you can to the rad so that the air is directed through the rad rather than around it.

As Phil suggests your fan position is way too far away from the rad. The air speed drops unless the fan is about 2-3mm away from the matrix and it doesn't penetrate the rows and fins of the rad, it turbulates instead of penetrating the rad and causes the the airflow to stall, you will not get anything like the cooling action you should get unless you get it a lot closer.

Yes, get the fan cowl as close to the rad as you can.
