Did anyone else here go?
I've just come back from CarFest South - and it was utterly superb.
£115 gets you camping for three nights, along with three evenings of entertainment (Amy McDonald, Bjorn Again, Scouting for Girls, Texas, Reef, Ocean Colour Scene, Jools Holland to name some of them), flying displays from the Red Arrows, Vulcan, a nutter in an Abarth aerobatic plane, an Apache, and the most lunatic flying of a Chinook that you could ever imagine.
Oh - and cars.
Lots of nice ones the Chris Evans has got out of his own garage, or got his mates (such as Nick Mason) to bring along.
Whizzing up and down the track.
Then you get to go and see them in the paddock - where with lot of them, you can not just touch, but some you can sit in too.
My wife bought the tickets, and wouldn't tell me what they cost until we went.
And, yes - I'd have questioned paying £115 for them before I went.
Now - I see it as nothing other than excellent value for money.
I'll post some pics later once I've had a sort out.
