    Hood sealer

Im wonder what you guys use if ever ! To seal the soft tops . Mine has started to leak in heavy rain through the stitching and just wondered if anybody could recomend a spray to seal it or something.

    Hi Euro

Renovo do one as part of their kit, or if the colour's O.K. I would be inclined to use an aerosol tent proofer-much cheaper.

I have had more hoods up in the last 3 months than inthe last 6 years. After 50 miles in the rain today, looking at the inside of the soft top, I can see why my frame looks tinged with rust. Despite that,I think that I will give the tent spray a chance before investing in a new hood..

Grangers ? will google it , the hoods ok , just want to seal up the stitching. That is where it seems to leak.

My tin of Grangers Fabsil says it's suitable for all fabrics. You just need to keep it off the vinyl window.

No need to worry about wool, mohair hoods are all made from synthetics these days.
