    Strut Inserts

I've noticed that one of the NOS struts I fitted when I fitted the TH lowering springs is leaking and the car has started to wallow a bit on uneven road surfaces. Any one got any recommendations please for reasonably priced replacement strut inserts that will work Ok with my lowered springs ie not too hard?

Not got them on the front yet Dave, but have just fitted KYB's on the rear and will be swapping the spax on the front for them asap as the spax are to hard even on the softest setting with the lower profile wheels and tyres that i'm running with.
    Cheers Steve

      Dave,

The Spax inserts I have are non-adjustable and seem fine with standard (new) springs and 80-profile tyres. Not cheap though....

        Hi Dave,

If you do go for a new insert, and if it comes with a new screw in top cap, any chance of having your old one ? Re my post of yesterday http://www.stag.org.uk/forum/showthr...spension-strut

        Cheers

I think Julian is trying to take over the world of screw on caps. This time next year he will have cornered the market blooming tesco all over again

We have KYB fitted front and back with lowered springs. Been on nearly 3 years and 10,000 miles with no complaints to-date.

              Regards

Chris Witor springs (which I believe are the TH springs as well) with KYB Gas-A-Justs are a great combination that seem to stand up to the pressure of time .
