As you guys can see i keep logging on it is because iam waiting for a reply to my sent email to admin for my account to be deleted, which i still have no answer.
Iam not popping on and off to nose, so can anyone tell me how to delete it.
Its not going because of the thread i just don't agree with the politics thats all.
i don't want to start another bad thread, just want an answer please.
If i knew how to do it i wouldn't be posting on here.

actually I'm interested in this as well. As an international member I have been stunned by the insular outlook of this forum. It appears if you aren't in the select "in group" you have no say. It appears this is a "local forum for local people"

When I first joined I thought it was a pretty polite group of people with a common interest. I've sinced noticed the forum seems to be heavily influenced by a select group and dissenting opinions are swiftly dealt with.

So I would also like to know how to delete my account. I'd prefer to take my chances with google for advice..

    Cheers

    Justin

              Hi Justin,

I can understand that things can be tough for you on the other side of the hemisphere but I would ask you to reconsider.

I'm on the other side of the country to many of the forum contributors and, at first, I felt a bit left out. But soon I realised that most people were willing to give advice and help whenever they could and wherever they were.

Inevitably there are 'clusters' of forumites and, once a number know each other they will be a bit closer, but I have rarely found this to be a problem.

As with all things in life, nothing's perfect, but life would have been quite a bit harder, and certainly a lot less enjoyayble, for me if it weren't for the Forum. Go on, consider staying - the grass is always greener on the other side

              Cheers

                Reply to Bunny

I replied to your email at 12:31 today. Users are unable to delete their own accounts only administrators can do this and in my email I asked you to confirm your wish to be deleted, once I receive that I will then delete your account. When an account is deleted it's gone and cannot come back which is why I asked for your confirmation.

Hi Justin, I for one am sorry you feel that way, although I feel it's a bit hash and a little unfair, of course their are people on the forum that have met and become friend's ( me for one ) but I cannnot how that has affected the way we write on here. I for one (and many others too) have tried to give help and information to whoever and where ever the are. When I visited Australia I was welcomed with open arm's by a member there as I am sure you would be if you visited England. If you are refering to a recent skirmish this was done on a closed members only section where you did not have to visit or become part of. For me, freedom of speech and discussion is vital ( well at least until the Russian's take over)
I hope you reconsider your decision like me it's not easy when you can't meet the people involved, but I don't think you can alway's judge people by the way, or what they write. Best wishes in whatever you decide to do Graham

short answer is you can't delete your account only the administrator can do that for you via the Admin Control Panel. It's how vBulletin is designed. As it's a trivial task I wonder why it hasn't been done?
