The car's location is given as Chorley, my home town, but I've never heard of DouglasValleyBreakers and can't pinpoint it's position
from the photographs, but I know there were several car scrap yards in Chorley as I once got a part for my former W123 Mercedes from one.
In another recent thread on here Philv8 says he is staying in Chorley on his way to the AGM - could ask him to go take a look, or could that car
be one to tell the TV company about who are looking for an old Stag to restore!

Door locks will identify Mk1 or 2 but no pictures unfortunately
would love to know what caused the fire. I have heard of carb conversions flooding and unlike the originals there isn't the facility to direct fuel away that I know off

I have heard of cars as late as dec 74 to jan 1975 with mk1 doors !! ask Steve stagdad mk 2 74 with mk 1 doors and locks ............Originally posted by milothedog View PostDoor locks will identify Mk1 or 2 but no pictures unfortunately
