Stag meets steam

The weather was so fine today I thought it may be my last opportunity for a run around Mid Wales before my operation in 2 weeks which will stop me driving for some time.
As I drove past Welshpool station, the Llanfair Caereinon bound steam train was just leaving, so I drove, Mother strapped in, to a point where the train crosses the road and managed to get the puffing monster, and the train, in the same picture.
We then drove through beautiful countryside to Lake Vyrnwy for a cup of tea before heading back home using the most circuitous route.
