Activation of the light on the TeeBar

I noticed that the Tee Bar centre light does not come on when the drivers door is opened but does when the passenger door is opened.

I put this down to the drivers puddle light is broken ( have ordered a new bulb ). Looking at the wiring it was not clear if these are connected.

Just thought I would ask whilst I wait for my bulbs to come in the post.

I assume your stag is a mk2 as mk1 had a separate lights on the 'B' pillar for each side.

The central light is in fact 2 bulbs, one for either side and I suspect your problem is simply one of the bulbs gone or a poor connection.However are you sure the bulb as gone in your puddle light? the fact both bulbs for that door do not light might point to a problem with door switch as this provideseither the supply or the earth path (cannot recall which)for both bulbs.

Thanks for the info. I was not aware that there were two lamps in TeeBarfor MKII.

The puddle bulb was definitely faulty asit fell to bits in the holder. Not sure id these are series or in parallel else I probably have another bulb to buy

Will try the new one when it arrives and then see.

Simple way to check. Switch bulbs in the T-Bar lamp.

Never change a working system. At least one

bulb is working
