    Surcharge refund

    How long should you have to wait for a surcharge refund ?
    I've been promised it but nothing has happened.
    It's now 10 weeks and I'm beginning to wonder if I will ever see it.

    Or am I being impatient.....

    That is unacceptable. Whoever it is or what ever it is, they should have received your old item and evaluated it by now. If they have said your item is OK for an exchange, then its cash flow or bad service.

        You've just reminded me, I sent an item back a month or two ago and haven't heard a thing!

          I recently bought an exchange driveshaft and had the surcharge back in my account within a week of posting the old one back.

            Call the supplier and remind them.
            Header tanks - you can't beat a bit of bling.

              I had an e-mail several weeks ago promising the refund within days.
              It probably took longer to send the e-mail than to transfer the funds so the time / forgetful excuse doesn't wash.
              If you get BS in an e-mail you will likely get BS on the phone.

                Who's the supplier Brian? might be worth letting others know who it is if you're getting messed around.
