Have to agree, I gave it to Will (WB50) I think his badge fell out on the road.

I was watching this, but it got a bit silly.!

These badges are no longer available, so 'market forces' will prevail.., be great if SOCTFL could get the tooling sorted etc, and produce a batch..??

            Cheers

SOCTFL isn't set yup for this kind of thing, unfortunately. The remit is for assistance with parts that, if not available, will keep cars off the road. I'm not sure but I think they are available but only repros, or 2nd hand, not NOS apparently. Opportunity for someone?

Like rear lamp gaskets? Yes I bought a set for my refurbed Stag when I discovered during strip down that the lights were sealed to the body with silicon sealant . But the car wouldn't have been unroadworthy without them.........

I heard someone at National day saying the badge tooling was broken and wasn't going to be replaced.

However, if badges start going for silly money like this, it won't be long before something is back in production. Glad I replaced the badge on my Stag a year ago because as sure as hell the project Stag will be running badgeless!

I have three badges now the original one another from e bay and new one that was in amongst a job lot I bought in Devon. My dad had his pinched two times back in the 80,s he resulted in making a copper leaping stag and setting it in a rubber clear resin. I must find it and post it. So that makes four and no at present I'm not selling but if you have one then get it rechromed and I would look at polishing out the imperfections on the badge it's plastic so should polish.

Agree with all that Edd,the only problem is sometimes the plastic badge wears from the back and the silvering comes out.I guess there must be a way of re-applying that though..

This has been in dads drawer for about 30 years. He hand made the copper stag.
