I am rebuilding my front legs and need to shim the top mounts. Does anywhere sell shims or do I have to have the sleeve shortened?

There is up and down play because the thickness of the new mount + ptfe thrust washers is less than the inner sleeve, maybe 0.5 mm. All parts came from a highly respected supplier.
