        Great video, Malcolm.

Not only makes me jealous for not being there, but it takes me back to 1971.As a newly qualified 18-year-old driver we were on the way down to Italyin the family Viva HB, 4-up with roof-rack, etc.I was driving when we reachedthe public road section of the Mulsanne straight. My ex-police Father was in the front passenger seat saying "50mph is quite fast enough, Son"

One day I shall get back there......

          Great video

What sort of speeds wher you doing ?.Its hard to tell after being used to the onboard F1 cameras it looks quite slow but lots of tyre squealing says different.

What was the overal cost for the weekend?

          Cheers Steve

            Hi Steve

On the Mulsanne straight we got the old girl up to 100MPH (3 speed auto)

The track is 8.5 miles long and we did it in about 8 minutes

The cost was for two of us with Ferry,Camping Grandstand seats and track lap(£95.00)

Total cost £683.00 plus beer.wine and food

            Worth every penny
