What a day for soft top motoring

This morning I took the stag for a nice long drive for the last time before I put the hard top on this weekend (there's a photo of its last trip to the lockup elsewhere)

Then it was in the Z4 to my pals house - top down obviously - to help him with a problem

Drove his Boxster part way to Wigan again with the roof down

There he bought a lovely little 206cc for his daughter and I got to drive it back home al fresco obviously.

So in total about 160 miles, 4 hours, sunny all the way in late October. Happy days!

Being as you say it was such a nice day, did you have a chance to go fishing on Wigan Pier!?
PS. Where exactly is "Hope" as I have never seen a direction sign for it when I am in Chester.
When over I usually stay at my Son's house in Boughton near the Bypass.

Started work at 07.00 having finished after midnight the night before. Kept looking out of my office window at the blue sky thinking 'I'll take a break in a minute and take the Stag out for a run'. 18 hours later I'm still sat at my desk, no run in the Stag (haven't set a foot outside in 48 hours) and just checked the forecast to see it's going to piss down all day tomorrow.

Anyone feeling sorry for me?

Richard I dedicate one of my four drives to you. I was the same on Monday, supposedly on holiday I spent. 9 hours glued to my home pc working on my 'virtual desktop' at work! Still yesterday made up for it

Tdm, find Chester, Wrexham and Mold on the map and hope is slap bang at the centroid of the triangle. From broughton you would go through kinnerton and end up in hope. It's about 10 minutes drive
