Stag Estate??

It's been on before, obviously it needs too much work which is why it probably hasn't sold, could turn out pretty good though if someone took it on

Slightly baffled how it qualified as a Stag in the first place.
2.5 estate body shell with a Stag engine and running gear. Oh and badges.
Follow the logic what does that make Stags running non factory issue engines and running gear?

I would too, it still look special, like a Stag should. The one on ebay is just any old estate car, IMHO. I do like the shooting brake type, saw a Jaguar XJS Lunx Eventer a while ago, just lovely!

I love the shooting brake stag and agree the estate is just a 2500 estate with a Rover V8 fitted it!

I can't see the attraction of it and i love the big saloons and would love another 2500S

Has anyone followed the links put up to the CT forum, they make very interesting reading about the history of Stag Estates and Saloons that were built by Del Lines.

I was fortunate to follow the Saloon at one point on the Round Britain Reliability Run in my 'standard' Stag It sounded and looked very good.

I think it is Sam........just as long as you've got photoshop on your computer I'd love one like that.

I'm sure it is just a photoshop job with something like a Jensen Healey back end - although you know the factory produced three fastbacks, one of which still exists.
