Just spotted this on eBay. i would imagine the plate is worth a good deal. It's got a Rover engine fitted at the moment. I never knew they existed. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2811990156...84.m1436.l2649

It's been on before, obviously it needs too much work which is why it probably hasn't sold, could turn out pretty good though if someone took it on

For a proper Stag estate, you'd need something like this
Stag estate.jpg (Don't know why the system won't post this as a full picture)

Has anyone followed the links put up to the CT forum, they make very interesting reading about the history of Stag Estates and Saloons that were built by Del Lines.
I was fortunate to follow the Saloon at one point on the Round Britain Reliability Run in my 'standard' StagIt sounded and looked very good.

SamI'd love one like that.
I'm sure it is just a photoshop job with something like a Jensen Healey back end - although you know the factory produced three fastbacks, one of which still exists.

I found this picture a few years ago, I think the guy liked playing with Photoshop. The rover PB5 one looks good.

There is also a poor quality red version, I don't think this was by the same guy
