Rear bumper

I am getting close to the point of putting the car back together and one of the things I need to get is centre section for the rear bumper as mine has accident damage, I have a mk2 and can only find a decent mk1bumper for the money I am prepared to pay, so my Question is , any one know if the plinth on the mark 2 bumper will cover the holes on the mark 1

I have a mk1 bumper on my Stag trailer with Mk2 plinth and no, it doesn't cover the holes. I have them blanked instead.

Hi John

The mk2 Plinth will cover the main two large holes you just need to put larger washes underneath to hold in place,
but the two small holes will show, these do not look too bad and as Kevin has already said you could just put two small chrome bolts in the holes to blank them off.
